Healthful Habits – Fitness & Nutrition by Sandra, is a small business in Ontario, Canada, offering mobile personal training (Pickering to Cobourg), virtual training (worldwide), mobility & running coaching as well as healthful eating and weight loss coaching.
The owner, Sandra:
“As a mother of 3, I understand that finding the time for movement, can be tricky. Our mobile packages are time saving and efficient (no need to drive or find babysitters!). The mobile aspect, brings fitness to people that from different reasons, can’t (or don’t want to), make their way to the gym. The coach comes to you, and brings the equipment along! Same goes for the nutrition package, it's offered either in the comfort of your home, or virtually.
The biggest reward, working with fitness and nutrition, is to see my clients step out of their comfort zones, to hit goals and see them empowered as well as physically and mentally stronger. I work with younger athletes, beginners, advanced Ironman’s aswell as older adults. I take big pride in explaining to my clients why I program specific exercises. It’s important to me to relate and connect the exercise to every day life or sport performances, whether it's strength training for runners or mobility exercises for elderly.
From a personal perspective, running is my favourite cardio exercise and I have had the pleasure of meeting many new friends in the running community. I’m an advocate for all kinds of exercises, but running holds a special place in my heart. Road, trails or treadmill, bring them on (although I’d always pick trails, if I had to choose).My last race, was in January and it was my very first snowshoe trail-race. To my surprise, I ended up winning Masters. This year, I’m racing a couple of trail races, if you spot me, come say hello!
